Can you imagine how much more joyful we would be if we were aware of all the good things in our lives? We all need to say “thank you” more often. It is all too easy to take life for granted, though it’s a sad reality that everyday is not guaranteed.
Today, thank God for your blessings. Thank your friends for their support. Thank your family for their love. Thank your children when they do something kind. Start a “gratefulness journal.” I guarantee you, by writing down just 5 things a day you are thankful for, you will begin to have a more positive attitude about life, and will begin to recognize your blessings instead of taking them for granted. And, soon, those five things will turn to 50, and your entire attitude will change for the better.
